Youth With A Mission International
Founded in 1960, Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is a global movement of Jesus followers from many cultures, age groups, and traditions, all dedicated to serving throughout the world. We unite in the common purpose “to know God and to make Him known”. YWAM currently operates in more than 1,100 locations in over 180 countries, with a staff of over 18,000.
University of the Nations
With the growth of YWAM, training and higher education programs were being developed in our centres around the globe. This eventually led to the founding of the University of the Nations (UofN) in 1988. Today, the UofN offers various degree programs in seven different faculties with course locations in 160 countries. The UofN is not registered/accredited as a university in Australia, however all YWAM Training Australia (YTA) courses may be eligible for transfer credits with the UofN.
YWAM Training
YWAM Training is the Australian expression of the UofN. YWAM Training is a registered training organisation which offers accredited and non-accredited training programs. The qualifications offered range from Certificate II to Advanced Diploma within the Australia Qualifications Framework.
