We may use third-party service providers to help operate our ministry and administer activities on our behalf — such as sending newsletters or surveys. Compliance & Safeguarding
Protecting vulnerable persons
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important to us. We are also committed to the protection of vulnerable persons who are less able to protect themselves against harm and exploitation due to age, illness, trauma, or disability.
For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our site from those we actually know are under 13 years old or a vulnerable person, and no part of our site is structured to attract anyone under 13 years old.
Legal framework
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, and the ACNC External Conduct Standards 2019. These set out principles concerning the privacy of individuals that we are committed to upholding.
Policy Amendments
Changes to this policy
YWAM Wollongong has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage you to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
