YWAM Wollongong

Who We Are

Our Purpose

Hope and healing for a hurting world.

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."

Mark 16:15

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is an international movement of Christians from many denominations. We exist to present Jesus personally to this and future generations, to mobilise as many people as possible to join the task, and to train and equip believers to go.

It's a great, big, beautiful world we live in, brimming with diverse landscapes, colourful creatures, vibrant cultures, all held together in the hands of a loving Creator. YWAM Wollongong exists to see lives and communities transformed by the Good News of Jesus — especially in the places where it's known the least.

We are geared towards giving everyone everywhere a chance to experience God's goodness firsthand. We focus on the 10/40 Window — the stretch from North Africa to East Asia — where unengaged peoples live with little or no access to the Gospel.

Give It Away — YWAM Wollongong

A Global Movement, A Local Base

As part of YWAM International — one of the world's largest missionary organisations — we are connected to a global network of training bases, pioneer works, and mission teams in over 180 countries. When you train at YWAM Wollongong, you join a family that spans the globe.

Some graduates plant churches. Some establish schools and clinics. Some do street ministry in cities. Some work in disaster relief. The call is wide, and the need is urgent.
